About

I am licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). My interests include traditional counseling and psychotherapy, as well as the use of art, guided imagery, relaxation and breathing techniques as tools to help clients express themselves in ways that work best for each individual client. I have training and education in psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, new paradigms of grief, complicated grief, grief after suicide, young adults and loss, loss through violence, therapeutic writing, and group therapy. I am a SoulCollage(R) Facilitator, and a Finding the Deep River Within Facilitator.

I have worked in private practice, out-patient mental health centers, partial hospitalization programs, and a college counseling center, providing individual and group counseling to people struggling with many different challenges and navigating many different types of transitions. I also have attended law school and practiced law for over 20 years, so I am in a unique position to understand the challenges faced by law students and lawyers. I am a member of Northeastern Society for Group Psychotherapy, and a former member of the Women's Bar Association of Massachusetts.

I work with young adults, adults, college & graduate students, and lawyers.
